(1) This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Amendment) Order 2021 and comes into force twenty-eight days after the day on which it is made.
(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

(1) The following amendments are made to Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (which specifies the drugs which are subject to control under that Act as Class C drugs).
(2) In paragraph 1(a) —
(a) after “Fenproporex.” insert “Flualprazolam (8-chloro-6-(2-fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine).”;
(b) after “Flunitrazepam.” insert “Flunitrazolam (6-(2-fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-8-nitro-4H-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,4]benzodiazepine).”;
(c) after “Nordazepam.” insert “Norfludiazepam (7-chloro-5-(2-fluorophenyl)-1,3-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one).”.
