Section 1 Citation, extent and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland except for regulation 2 which extends to Scotland.

(3) In these Regulations, “ the Act ” means the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.

Section 2 Commencement on 7th November 2024

Section 180 of, and Schedule 9 to, the Act (cryptoassets: civil recovery) come into force on 7th November 2024, so far as not already in force.

Section 3 Commencement on 1st September 2025
