Section 1 Citation and extent

(1) This Order may be cited as the Deregulation Act 2015 (Growth Duty Guidance) Order 2024.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Section 2 Revocation of guidance under the Deregulation Act 2015 (Growth Duty Guidance) Order 2017

The guidance brought into force under the Deregulation Act 2015 (Growth Duty Guidance) Order 2017 is revoked on the 21st day after the day on which this Order is made.

Section 3 Guidance

The guidance entitled “Growth Duty: Statutory Guidance Refresh” and laid in draft before Parliament on 6 March 2024 comes into force on the 21st day after the day on which this Order is made.
