Section 1 Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Online Procedure Rules (Specified Proceedings) Regulations 2025 and come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

(3) In these Regulations “ financial remedy ” has the same meaning as in rule 2.3(1) of the Family Procedure Rules 2010 .

Section 2 Specified proceedings

The following proceedings are proceedings of a specified kind for the purposes of section 20(1) of the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022—

(a) civil proceedings in England and Wales in relation to property;

(b) proceedings in the First-tier Tribunal in relation to property;

(c) proceedings in the Upper Tribunal in relation to property; and

(d) family proceedings in England and Wales for a financial remedy.
