Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Apprenticeships (Miscellaneous Provisions) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2025.
(2) These Regulations come into force on 1st August 2025.
(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales.

Section 2Amendment to the Apprenticeships (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2017

(1) The Apprenticeships (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2017 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 5 (duration of practical period), in paragraphs (1) and (2)(c), for “12” substitute “8” .
(3) In regulation 6 (alternative English apprenticeships), in paragraphs (7), (9)(d) and (11), for “12” substitute “8” .
