(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into force on 1st June 2026.
(2) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences and Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 and come into force on 1st June 2026.

(1) The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Licences) Regulations 2007 are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 8 (fee to be paid on application for licence)—
(a) after paragraph (1) insert—
(1A) Where a person submits a single application form in application for the grant of two or more licences, the fee payable on application for each licence additional to the first (“an additional licence”) is—
(a) where an additional licence relates to any activities to which paragraph 3 or 3A of Schedule 2 to the 2001 Act applies, the fee prescribed by paragraph (1);
(b) otherwise, 50% of the fee prescribed by paragraph (1).
(b) omit paragraphs (2) and (3).
(3) In regulation 9 (transitional provision) —
(a) the existing text becomes paragraph (1);
(b) after that paragraph insert—
(2) The fee arrangements provided for by regulation 8(1A) apply to any application for the grant of a licence which is received by the Authority on or after 1st June 2026.
In the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Approved Contractor Scheme) Regulations 2007 , in regulation 5, for “£15” substitute “£25” .
