Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Academy of Live Technology Ltd) Order 2026 and comes into force on 1st July 2026.

Section 2 Authorisation to grant awards

Academy of Live Technology Ltd (registered company number 07591694) is authorised to grant taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(c) of the said Act for taught awards up to and including master’s level for subjects related to—

(a) engineering and technology,

(b) computing,

(c) business and management,

(d) media, journalism and communications, and

(e) design, and creative and performing arts.

Section 3 Authorisation to grant awards

The authorisation in article 2 is for a fixed term beginning on 1st July 2026 and expiring at the end of the day on 30th June 2030.

Section 4 Authorisation to grant awards

Academy of Live Technology Ltd may only grant the awards specified in article 2 to persons enrolled with it at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted.
