Section 1Citation, commencement and extent

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Home Repair Assistance (Extension) (Wales) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 17th November 1999.

(2) These Regulations extend to Wales only.

Section 2Extension of home repair assistance

The availability of home repair assistance shall be extended by treating income-based jobseeker’s allowance as one of the benefits listed in subsection (1)(e) of section 77 (entitlement to home repair assistance) of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
