Section 1Name, interpretation and application

(1) This Order is called the Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006.
(2) In this Order “the Act” (“ y Ddeddf ”) means the Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Act 2006.
(3) This Order applies in relation to Wales.

Section 2Appointed Day

14 October 2006 is the appointed day for the coming into force of sections 1 to 22 of the Act.
