(1) The title of this Order is the Education (Recognised Bodies) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2009 and it comes into force on 6 April 2009.

(1) The Education (Recognised Bodies) (Wales) Order 2007 is amended as follows.
In the Schedule—
(a) omit—
(i) “Henley Management College”; and
(ii) “University of Paisley”.
(b) for—
(i) “Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College”, substitute “Buckinghamshire New University”;
(ii) “University of Central England in Birmingham”, substitute “Birmingham City University”;
(iii) “College of St. Mark and St. John, Plymouth, The” substitute “University College Plymouth, St. Mark and St. John”;
(iv) “University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester” substitute “University for the Creative Arts”;
(v) “Newman College of Higher Education, Birmingham”, substitute “Newman University College”.
In the Schedule, insert in the appropriate place—
(a) “Arts Institute at Bournemouth, The”;
(b) “Ashridge (Bonar Law Memorial) Trust (also known as “Ashridge”)”;
(c) “University College Birmingham”;
(d) “Glyndŵ r University (Prifysgol Glyndŵ r)”;
(e) “Norwich University College of the Arts”;
(f) “Swansea Metropolitan University (Prifysgol Fetropolitan Abertawe)”;
(g) “Trinity University College (Coleg Prifysgol y Drindod)”
(h) “ UHI Millennium Institute”; and
(i) “University of the West of Scotland”.
