Section 1 Title, commencement and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Velindre National Health Service Trust (Establishment) (Amendment) Order 2012 and it comes into force on 1 June 2012.

(2) In this Order:

“the principal order” means the Velindre National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1993 ;

“Shared Services” means professional, administrative and technical services provided to the health service in Wales.

Section 2 Amendment of article 1 of the principal Order

(1) Following the definition of “operational date” in article 1(2) of the principal Order, insert —

“shared services” means professional, administrative and technical services provided to the health service in Wales;

Section 3 Amendment of article 3 of the principal Order

(1) Following article 3(2)(c) of the principal Order, insert —

(d) to manage and provide shared services to the health service in Wales; and

(2) Following article 3(2)(d) of the principal Order, insert —

(e) to own or lease the premises associated with the provision of the services in paragraph (d).
