Section 1 Title and interpretation

(1) The title of this Order is the Curriculum and Assessment (Wales) Act 2021 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2022.

(2) In this Order, “ the Act ” means the Curriculum and Assessment (Wales) Act 2021.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 11 January 2022

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 11 January 2022—

(a) section 56(1) of the Act for the purposes of making regulations under that section, and

(b) section 57(1) of the Act for the purposes of issuing a direction under that section.

Section 3 Provisions coming into force on 1 September 2022

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1 September 2022—

(a) section 56 to the extent it is not already in force, and

(b) section 57 to the extent it is not already in force.
