Section 1 Title and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Regulated Services (Registration) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 31 December 2023.

Section 2 Amendment of the Regulated Services (Registration) (Wales) Regulations 2017

The Regulated Services (Registration) (Wales) Regulations 2017 are amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 3(b), after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” ;

(b) in regulation 6(b), after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” ;

(c) in regulation 7(b), after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” ;

(d) in paragraph 30 of Schedule 1, after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” ;

(e) in paragraph 32 of Schedule 1, after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” ;

(f) after paragraph (ea) of Schedule 2 insert the following paragraph—

(eb) in the case of a special school residential service, a description of how the arrangements for the provision of education and the arrangements for the provision of the residential service are coordinated;

(g) in paragraph (k) of Schedule 2, after “secure accommodation service” insert “, special school residential service” .
