Section 1 Title, coming into force and interpretation

(1) The title of these Regulations is the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Amendment) (No. 2) (Wales) Regulations 2023.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 5 June 2023.

(3) In these Regulations, “ the principal Regulations ” means the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) Regulations 1989 .

Section 2 Amendment of Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations

Schedule 2 to the principal Regulations (countries or territories in respect of which the United Kingdom Government has entered into a reciprocal agreement) is amended as follows—

(a) at the appropriate places insert—

Bermuda

Cayman Islands

Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands

(b) for “St Helena” substitute “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha” .
