Section 1 Title, application and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Meat Preparations (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2024.

(2) These Regulations apply in relation to Wales and come into force on 28 April 2024.

Section 2 Amendment to Commission Decision 2000/572/EC

In Commission Decision 2000/572/EC laying down animal and public health conditions and veterinary certification for imports of minced meat and meat preparations from third countries and repealing Decision 97/29/EC omit Article 3(3).

Section 3 Consequential revocations

The following are revoked—

(a) regulation 3 of the Meat Preparations (Amendment and Transitory Modification) (Wales) (EU Exit) Regulations 2021 ,

(b) the Meat Preparations (Amendment and Transitory Modification) (Wales) (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 ,

(c) the Meat Preparations (Amendment and Transitory Modification) (Wales) (EU Exit) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2021 ,

(d) regulation 3 of the Official Controls (Extension of Transitional Periods and Miscellaneous Amendments) (Wales) (EU Exit) Regulations 2021 ,

(e) the Meat Preparations (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 ,

(f) regulation 3 of the Official Controls (Extension of Transitional Periods) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2022 , and

(g) the Meat Preparations (Amendment and Transitory Modification) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 .
