Section 1 Title and interpretation

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Environment Act 2021 (Commencement No. 3) (Wales) Regulations 2025.

(2) In these Regulations, “ the Act ” means the Environment Act 2021.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 16 April 2025

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 16 April 2025—

(a) section 73(d) (smoke control areas: amendments of the Clean Air Act 1993), so far as it relates to Wales; and

(b) Part 2 of Schedule 12 (principal amendments to the Clean Air Act 1993: Wales).
