Section 1 Title and interpretation

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Water (Special Measures) Act 2025 (Commencement No. 1) (Wales) Regulations 2025.

(2) In these Regulations, “ the Act ” means the Water (Special Measures) Act 2025.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 1 September 2025

The following provisions of the Act come into force on 1 September 2025—

(a) section 3 (pollution incident reduction plans), so far as relating to undertakers whose areas are wholly or mainly in Wales;

(b) section 5 (nature-based solutions), so far as relating to undertakers whose areas are wholly or mainly in Wales.
