Section 1 Title

The title of this Order is the Bus Services (Wales) Act 2026 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2026.

Section 2 Provisions coming into force on 30 June 2026

The following provisions of the Bus Services (Wales) Act 2026 come into force on 30 June 2026—

(a) section 5(1)(a), (b), (2) and (3) (local bus services: core duties);

(b) section 6 (preparation of the Welsh Bus Network Plan);

(c) section 7 (review and revision of the Welsh Bus Network Plan);

(d) section 8 (further provision about revisions to the Welsh Bus Network Plan);

(e) section 9 (revision of the Welsh Bus Network Plan: local authority duties);

(f) section 34 (provision of bus services by local authorities: removal of restriction).
