Section 1 Title and coming into force

(1) The title of these Regulations is the Public Health (Minimum Price for Alcohol) (Wales) Act 2018 (Continuation) Regulations 2026.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 9 February 2026.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations—

“ the 2018 Act ” (“ Deddf 2018 ”) means the Public Health (Minimum Price for Alcohol) (Wales) Act 2018;

“ minimum pricing provisions ” (“ darpariaethau’r isafbris ”) has the meaning given by section 22(4) of the 2018 Act.

Section 3 Continuation of minimum pricing provisions

Despite subsection (1) of section 22 of the 2018 Act, the minimum pricing provisions are not repealed by virtue of that subsection at the end of the period specified in it.
